Rules & Regulations

RULES AND REGULATIONS
There are rather strict guidelines for selling certain pre-loved items. The following are the ones that we are currently aware of, or are in house rules as we are very safety conscious. All items will go through a safety check when they arrive
COTS must have mattress measurements printed or stamped on the base. If they don't, we will not accept them. All clips working. All bolts the correct ones that came with the original cot. No breaks, or loose rails.
CAR SEATS will not be accepted if they are more than 6 years old, straps must be in perfect condition, clips and buckles all working, and accompanied by the instruction book they came with.
WALKERS must have some sort of safety device, ie stoppers, or stair safe grips etc
BATH SEATS must have the latest safety sticker attached and the suckers must still stick.
PRAMS Must meet the new Australian standard that started on the 1st July 2008. The brakes must be red,
there must be a tether strap to enable you to tether the pram to your wrist. Harnesses must carry a warning to use them at all times. There must be a sticker on the pram with 5 different warnings on it, and upright strollers have to carry a further warning that they should not be used for under 6 month olds.
PAJAMAS must have fire danger tags attached
PORTACOTS must not be able to be collapsed when the base is in the down position. No cracks in the plastic. Portacots must also have warning and measurements printed in the base.
PUSHBIKES will only be taken if they have training wheels
All items not covered will go through a quick check as they arrive, and will be rejected if they do not make the grade. If a problem is found with an item after you leave, you will be asked to return and pick up said item, or we will just throw it away.
Safety is paramount in this business, and we will not compromise on it.
